In9ja,Users of whatapp messenger have been lamenting as the application shutdown for two hours.
The whatapp messenger suddenly shutdown on Wednesday between 9:30pm to 11:30pm.
Users at different residents in Nigeria showed their displeasure on Facebook and Twitter as the whatapp seized to function for two hours.
After the restallation of the whatapp at exactly 11:30, many users spoke from different whatapp group, lamenting over the incident.
According to user, Mr Habib Gidado expressed displeasure over the shutdown of the whatapp, adding that he has some vital information to pass across whatapp groups before he found out that the whatapp has shutdown.
Gidado expressed sadness that this has not been the first time of whatapp to shut down, saying the application has earlier shut down on February 22nd.
However, as at the press time, Whatapp management has apologised to all users.
In the statement released, " We are very sorry for the shutdown, we experienced an outrage and server issue, it has been restored."
