THOUSANDS ATTEND BURIAL SERVICE OF LATE ADIMULA OF ILE IFE

  In9ja,Thousands residents of ile ife stormed First Baptist Church at Ilare street for the burial service of the Late Lowa Adimula, Oba Joseph  Olasoji Ijaodola who died on 27th January 2017.

The families of the deceased,  High Chiefs, traders, motorcyclists and  transport union officers in the ancient mourned the death of Oba Joseph.

One of the children of the deceased, Chief Johnson Ijaodola said his father recently marked his birthday this year with heathy.Adding that his father was not sick before his demise.

He stated further that his father was very humble and loyal who always admonish him to be loyal and humble.

"My father died as an hero and a legend. The ile ife community will miss him for his righteous deeds." He said.

In a Statement by The Royal Ambassadors of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter described the deceased as a very loving person, very traditional when it comes to his job.

The group expressed that Late Oba Joseph had represented Ooni of ife many times very well with honest and loyal.

According to the Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers, Ile ife branch, Mr Isiaka Olatunbosun said the deceased was very accommodating and friendly.

He added that the deceased had played many roles in strengthen peace and harmony in the town.

A trader, Mrs Yetunde Adelani who resides in Ilare street said it is a big loss to ile ife to loss the very generous old man.

She prayed that the deceased should rest in peace.

However, the residents of ile ife had paid their last respect to the deceased on Friday where wake keeping was done in Christianity way in the deceased's residence at St Paul Primary School, Ayelabowo street, Moore where many singers held a service of songs in his honour.
